Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F.
  2. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. If using metal skewers, skip this step.
  3. In a bowl, combine cubed chicken, pineapple chunks, diced red and green bell peppers, and red onion. Toss gently to combine.
  4. Thread the ingredients onto soaked skewers, alternating between chicken, pineapple, and veggies. Leave space for even cooking.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Coat the assembled kabobs with the marinade and let rest for 15 minutes.
  7. Grill the kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken reaches 165°F and pineapple caramelizes.
  8. Allow the kabobs to rest for a few minutes before serving, garnishing with fresh herbs or BBQ sauce if desired.
