  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Choose your favorite variety
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese Add extra for cheesier pizza
  • 1 medium Red Onion Caramelized; can substitute with sweeter onions
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Or substitute with parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For brushing on the crust

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and grease your pizza pan or prepare a pizza stone.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness and transfer to the prepared pan.
  3. Toss shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
  4. Spread BBQ sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Distribute the sauced chicken and caramelized onions over the cheese.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
