Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and prick sweet potatoes with a fork. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until tender, or cook in an Instant Pot for 10 minutes on high pressure.
  2. Once cool, peel the skins off and mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Stir in Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper to combine.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine panko and chili powder. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Scoop portions of the sweet potato mixture and roll into cylinders. Coat each piece in the panko mixture.
  5. Brush with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes, flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Melt butter in a skillet, add thyme, parsley, and sage. Drizzle over baked tots before serving.
