  • 1 pound Corned beef Use thin slices for the best texture.
  • 1 cup Sauerkraut Ensure it's well-drained to prevent sogginess.
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese Provolone or mozzarella can create a different taste profile.
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing Use Russian dressing for a more traditional twist.
  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted) Consider garlic-infused butter for added flavor.

Method
 

Prep and Assemble
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian-style sweet rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the buttered baking dish.
  3. Spread 1/4 cup of Thousand Island dressing evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Layer thinly sliced corned beef evenly over the dressing.
  5. Add a layer of well-drained sauerkraut evenly across the corned beef.
  6. Place slices of Swiss cheese generously over the sauerkraut.
  7. Spread the remaining Thousand Island dressing on the top halves of the rolls and place them over the cheese layer.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and cut into individual sliders.
