Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Halve each mini croissant horizontally. Layer the bottom halves with one slice of smoked cheddar cheese, followed by a generous portion of deli-cut ham, and top with another half slice of cheese.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey, and ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Spread the butter mixture generously on the inside of each croissant sandwich and arrange them in the greased baking dish.
  5. Whisk the egg white with a splash of water until frothy and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
  6. Sprinkle poppy seeds over the croissants for added texture before baking them in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
