Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Halve each mini croissant horizontally. Layer the bottom halves with one slice of smoked cheddar cheese, followed by a generous portion of deli-cut ham, and top with another half slice of cheese.
- In a medium bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey, and ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Spread the butter mixture generously on the inside of each croissant sandwich and arrange them in the greased baking dish.
- Whisk the egg white with a splash of water until frothy and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
- Sprinkle poppy seeds over the croissants for added texture before baking them in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
