  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Place in a Ziploc bag with cornstarch, seal, and shake to coat.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips in a single layer, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, light brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce into the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened and glossy.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
